commandlane 0.5 makes agents installable
A changelog note — external agents now install in one click, and you can keep several on hand and switch between them mid-flow.
commandlane 0.5 stops treating an external agent as something you wire up by hand. Hermes and OpenClaw now install from inside the app — you consent once, then it provisions, starts, and connects itself, with no host or port to copy around. Once an agent is in, you can give it several profiles — a different model, working directory, or permission set — and switch which one answers straight from the capture bar.
The point is not the installer. It is that the agent behind the command surface is now swappable: the keystroke stays the same, and the thing on the other end of it is yours to choose. commandlane is becoming less an app with an agent bolted on, and more a place you point whichever agent fits the work.
