Operations layer
The automation layer in OPERA: the part that routes tasks to agents, curates the knowledge base and keeps a workflow continuous across tools.
An orchestrator assigns each task to a specialized crew, roughly the way an air traffic controller assigns runways, and it does more than delegate: it curates knowledge bases, retrieves and analyzes data, and carries a workflow across Notion, bookmarks, mail and Drive.
The defining property is that it routes rather than executes, and that it runs the work without disturbing how the underlying system is organized. The abstract description is loose enough to mean almost anything, which is why I built a concrete version of it against Notion.
