Escalation

An item the automation refuses to decide, written to a numbered file and surfaced for approval on the unit's pinned dashboard.

Work that is significant, diverges from the stated direction, or cannot be grounded in a direction document goes here instead of into the backlog. Each entry carries its date, its origin, a one-line summary and the grounding that made it uncertain.

Ticking the box on the dashboard is what admits it to the backlog. The bot never ticks its own approvals.
